OWN SITE

You wish to assist with propagating the work of Jozef Rulof? You can!

There has been made a so-called 'zip file' of this website. A zip file contains other files. In this case all the files needed to display the site you're looking at on the World Wide Web (WWW). Below are the steps necessary to achieve this.

The size of your UniChristi site is less than an uncompressed photo! You don't have to fear for lack of disk space.

In four steps your own UniChristi site

1. Download the file 'unichristi_en.zip' (3,4 MiB).

2. Unzip unichristi_en.zip (now on your hard disk) by right clicking on it - a menu appears. The zip itself creates a folder containing all the necessary files: the folder unichristi_en.

3. Copy the zip file unichristi_en.zip itself to the folder unichristi_en. Now visitors of your site can download the zip from your site too (there are a few links at your site to this file).

4. Copy the folder unichristi_en with contents to your web space at your Internet Service Provider (ISP). You can use the Open Source program FileZilla for this. Download the FileZilla Client (not the Server!) for your platform (Linux, Mac OS X, or Windows).

For the WWW your start page will be something like:
http://www.your_domain.com/unichristi_en/index.html
http://www.your_domain.com/name_of_your_choice/index.html
http://www.your_domain.com/index.html

These are called URL's. The last, short, URL arises if you only copy the files (not the folder itself) to the so-called root (often the folder WWW) of your web space at your ISP. Take care that there isn't another index.html already - it will be overwritten.

The part name_of_your_choice or unichristi_en is the name of the folder containing all the files.

The file index.html is the start page of your site.

Please keep in mind that publishing on the WWW is your own responsibility.

CONTACT

If you need help with setting up your UniChristi site, or want to comment on the site itself, please send an email to info@unichristi.com.

This e-mail address is not included in unichristi_en.zip. However, you can, here at this place on your site, enter your own email address. There is a file called 0-contact.txt in the zip where you can read how to do that.
